Lazio failed to hold on to their home win over Torino in the 30th round of the Italian Serie A , drawing 1-1.
The match was played with the advantage of Marco Baroni's team, but without many scoring chances.
The hosts managed to score at the end of the hour thanks to the efforts of experienced players: 32-year-old Adam Marusic scored from a pass by 37-year-old Pedro Rodriguez.
In the remaining time, the Eagles were closer to a second goal than the Bulls were to a first, but Marco Zaccagni's shot was saved by Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, and Davide Massa, after reviewing the video replay, decided not to award a penalty for a possible foul on Nicolo Rovella.
And yet Paolo Vanoli's charges were lucky to avoid defeat. The visitors' savior was the Lithuanian midfielder Gvidas Gineitis, who came on as a substitute.
Lazio missed the opportunity to overtake Roma in the table and rise to 6th place – now both capital teams have 52 points. The Turin team remained in 11th place.
In the next round, on April 6, Lazio will travel to Atalanta, and Torino will host Verona.
