On February 14, WBO lightweight champion Denis Berinchyk will defend his title in New York against undefeated American Keyshawn Davis. Bookmakers, analysts, and boxing experts give the American a huge advantage. And although Davis has an excellent amateur career, an elite trainer, and the status of a major prospect , the categorical nature of the predictions is surprising.

At the same time, bookmakers are betting that the fight between Berinchyk and Davis will go the full distance. The probability of “total rounds in the fight between Berinchyk and Davis over 10.5″ is 1×1.36. The chance of Berinchyk winning by points is 1×5.5. The probability of Davis winning by decision is 1×1.9. In other words, experts believe that the judges will not let the Ukrainian win by points.

Davis is young (25 years old), he has a good amateur career (silver of the World Championship, Olympic and Pan-American Games, and in all three finals he lost to Cuban Andy Cruz). The fight with Berinchyk will be Davis' first 12-round fight, but the American's last six fights have been 10 rounds.

Keyshawn made his professional debut four years ago, in February 2021. 13 fights during this time, plus a title shot, is an excellent result.
