Paris Saint-Germain secured an unexpectedly difficult victory over Dunkirk in the semi-final match of the French Cup – 4:2.
The Ligue 2 representative sensationally led by two goals by the end of the half hour, with Vincent Sasso and Mohammed Al-Saad scoring.
Who knows how it would have ended if the underdog had held out until the break, but Ousmane Dembele, unstoppable in 2025, started the comeback with a goal “into the dressing room”. As soon as the game resumed, Ousmane made an assist for Marquinhos, and then Desire Douai put the Parisians ahead.
Dunkirk tried hard to do something, but it all ended with a double from Dembele, who put the finishing touches on one of the counterattacks.
Luis Castro's (not that one) team leaves the tournament with their heads held high. PSG are in the final, their opponent will be determined tomorrow in the Cannes-Reims duel.
