Barcelona and Real Madrid will meet in the Copa del Rey final for the first time since 2014

Barcelona beat Atletico away from home in the return leg of the semi-final of the Spanish Cup – 1:0.
The first half was dominated by the Catalans. In the 27th minute, Ferran Torres put the visitors ahead, taking advantage of a pass from Lamine Yamal. The 25-year-old Spaniard has scored five goals (three against Atletico) in his last four matches for Barcelona.
In the middle of the second half, the Colchoneros equalized, but Alexander Sørloth's goal was disallowed due to offside. Diego Simeone's charges failed to score according to the rules.
The teams did not determine the strongest in the first match of the confrontation – 4:4. Thus, thanks to today's victory, Barcelona reached the final of the Spanish Cup, where they will play Real Madrid in Seville on April 26. Blancos beat Real Sociedad in the semi-finals on aggregate (1:0, 4:4).
This will be the first time Barcelona and Real Madrid have met in the Copa del Rey final since 2014, when the Blancos beat the Catalans thanks to a legendary goal from Gareth Bale – 2:1.
Barcelona will host Betis in the 30th round of La Liga on April 5. Atletico will play their next match away to Sevilla on April 6.
