Brazilian striker Romario de Souza Faria Filho , or Romarinho, has officially become a player of FC YUKSA .
The 31-year-old forward is the son of the famous Ballon d'Or winner and world champion Romario. The striker will wear number 11 in the Ukrainian club.
Romarinho is a product of Vasco da Gama. The forward has played mostly for Brazilian clubs in his career. The forward's last team was America from Rio de Janeiro, which Romarinho left at the end of last year.
Let us recall that earlier in 2025, the YUKSA roster was replenished with midfielders Nikita Tatarkov and Yuri Kozyrenko. In March, the club signed former Veres defender Oleksandr Melnyk.
Based on the results of the autumn part of the season, YUKSA qualified for the Champions Group, taking 4th place in Group B of the First League (just three points behind the leader, Kudrovka). The team from the Kyiv region will play its first official match of 2025 on April 5 away against Epicenter.
