Manuel Pellegrini's side put up a fight against the league leaders, extending their unbeaten run in La Liga to seven games in a row

Barcelona drew 1-1 at home against Betis in the 30th round of La Liga.
Both goals were scored early in the match – Gavi put Barcelona ahead in the 7th minute, and Betis equalized in the 17th minute through Nathan.
The fans did not see any more goals scored, but despite this, Barcelona still strengthened its leadership in La Liga. Real Madrid lost its match of the 30th round today, so Hans-Dieter Flick's team increased its lead over the second-placed Blancos from three to four points.
Betis, in turn, extended their unbeaten streak in La Liga to seven games in a row. Manuel Pellegrini's team is fighting for a place in the Champions League, currently in fifth place in the standings.
Next week, both teams are set to play in European competitions – Barcelona will face Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals on April 9, while Betis will play Jagiellonia in the same stage of the Conference League on April 10. As for the next round of La Liga, Barcelona will face Leganes on April 12, while Betis will face Villarreal on April 13.
