PSG won at home against Angers (1:0) in the 28th round of the French Ligue 1 .
Luis Enrique's team had an absolute advantage in the first half, but were unable to convert it into a goal. The Parisians managed to score after the break – in the 55th minute, Desire Douai scored, and this goal remained the only one in the match.
In today's game, even a draw was enough for the Parisians to secure the championship title ahead of schedule. Their lead over second-placed Monaco has increased to 24 points, despite the fact that the Monegasques have only seven matches left to play before the end of the championship.
This is PSG's 13th title and fourth in a row. They last failed to win gold medals in the 2020/21 season, when Lille sensationally won.
Luis Enrique's team also retains a chance to complete the treble this season. In the Champions League, they successfully made it to the quarter-finals, where they will play Aston Villa, and in the French Cup, PSG has already reached the final, where they will play Reims.
Angers, in turn, are in 14th place, three points ahead of the play-off zone.
On Wednesday, April 9, PSG will face Aston Villa in their first home match of the Champions League quarter-finals. Angers will play their next match on April 13, when they host Montpellier.
