Parma drew 2-2 with Inter in their home match in the 31st round of the Italian Serie A.

The Nerazzurri took the lead in the 15th minute through Matteo Darmian, and Marcus Thuram doubled the league leaders' lead just before the break.

It seemed that after the break Simone Inzaghi's team would calmly defend the advantage they had gained earlier, but Parma managed to get back into the game. First Adrian Bernabe and then Jakob Ondrejka signed in the goal of Yann Sommer, establishing the score 2:2 as of the 69th minute of the match.

The Crusaders then managed to hold on to a draw, while Inter lost important points in the context of the title race. Its lead over second-placed Napoli now amounts to four points, but the Neapolitans will play their match of the round on Monday against Bologna.

On Tuesday, April 8, Inter will play the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals against Bayern. As for the next round of Serie A, the Nerazzurri will face Cagliari on April 12, while Parma will face Fiorentina on April 13.
