Milan drew with Fiorentina (2:2) in a home match of the 31st round of the Italian Serie A.
The Violets made a strong start to the match, scoring twice by the 10th minute. First, Rossoneri centre-back Malik Tshau scored an own goal, and then Fiorentina's top scorer, Moise Kean, scored.
Milan pulled one back midway through the first half through Tammy Abraham, but the San Siro crowd saw no more goals before the break.
In the 64th minute, Milan restored the status quo, with Luka Jovic scoring his second goal of the season, thus setting the final score on the scoreboard.
In the Serie A standings, Fiorentina and Milan are still neighbors, sharing 8th and 9th place respectively.
Milan will play their next match in the Italian championship on April 11 against Udinese, while Fiorentina will face Parma on April 13. Before that, Rafaele Palladino's team still has the first leg of the Conference League quarter-finals to play on April 10 against Slovenian Celje.
