Former interim heavyweight world champion Dillian Whyte (31-3, 21 KOs) commented on the potential fight between British heavyweight Dereck Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs) and IBF belt holder Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs).

“No, he's not fighting Derek Chisora. Dubois is not fighting him. Dubois is going to kill Derek. He could actually die. Seriously.”

“There are bigger and better fights for Dubois right now. It's just business. Dereck Chisora is at the bottom of that list. There are bigger and better guys at the top.”

The International Boxing Federation (IBF) has decided to give Dubois a mandatory fight against fellow countryman Dereck Chisora, the organization's No. 2 contender. The fight will be officially confirmed on April 22, with a deadline of June 21.

At the same time, Dubois' potential unification fight against WBO/WBC/WBA/IBO heavyweight title holder Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) will take precedence over the mandatory.

On the night of February 8-9, 41-year-old Chisora defeated Otto Wallin by unanimous decision: 114-112, 116-110, 117-109. The Swede was knocked down twice during the fight. This fight was positioned as a qualifier for the second place in the IBF rating.

After that fight, Derek addressed the crowd to determine his next opponent: the biggest excitement among the spectators was caused by the persons of Alexander Usyk and Anthony Joshua.
