Tyson posted a video of their conversation after their first fight
Former world champion Tyson Fury has released a video of his conversation with Oleksandr Usyk after their first fight in May 2024.
Usik: “I pray for you all the time.”
Fury: “I pray for you too.”
Usyk: “I was preparing for you the whole time.”
Fury: “Me too. You're a strong man, you're a very good man, my brother in Christ.”
Usyk and Fury met twice in 2024. In May, Alexander won by split decision, and in December – by unanimous decision.
Tyson Fury previously announced his retirement. Fury has retired several times before, most recently in August 2022. After that, the boxer returned and fought four times: he defended his WBC championship belt twice, after which he lost twice more to Alexander Usyk.
