UEFA has announced the draw for the main round of the 2025/26 UEFA Europa Conference League. Two Ukrainian clubs will compete in the tournament — reigning national champion Dynamo Kyiv and Ukrainian Cup holder Shakhtar Donetsk, reports Baltimore Chronicle.
Dynamo qualified for the Conference League after being eliminated in the Europa League playoff round by Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv. Shakhtar earned their spot by defeating Swiss club Servette in the qualifying stage.
A total of 36 clubs will take part in the main round. The top eight teams in the overall standings will advance directly to the Round of 16. Teams finishing 9th–16th will be seeded in the playoff knockout round, while those placed 17th–24th will be unseeded.
According to the draw, Dynamo will face Fiorentina (away), Crystal Palace (away), Zrinjski (home), Omonia (away), Noah (home), and Samsunspor (away). Shakhtar will meet Legia (home), Shamrock Rovers (away), Rijeka (home), Aberdeen (away), Breidablik (home), and Hamrun (away).
The main round matches are scheduled as follows: Matchday 1 — October 2, Matchday 2 — October 23, Matchday 3 — November 6, Matchday 4 — November 27, Matchday 5 — December 11, and Matchday 6 — December 18, 2025. The full fixture list will be published on UEFA’s website on August 30.
