Those liable for military service themselves can choose a specific brigade to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the head of the public relations service of the command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladimir Fityo on air of the telethon.
According to him, those liable for military service can themselves choose a brigade for mobilization.
To do this, you need to contact a specific unit, get a relationship, report to the territorial recruitment center and conclude a contract before demobilization is announced.
“Then you will serve in the position that you yourself have chosen,” Fityo noted.
Bill on changes to mobilization
The Cabinet of Ministers submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill on changes in mobilization. The document, in particular, proposes lowering the age threshold for mobilization from 27 to 25 years, reducing the list of categories not subject to it, and also sending summons to the TCC by email.
The corresponding bill was introduced into parliament after President Vladimir Zelensky said at the final press conference that the General Staff asked to additionally mobilize 450-500 thousand people.
According to him, to make such a decision there must be a comprehensive plan, which, among other things, will address the issue of the warring parties from the first day of a full-scale invasion.
