On the night of December 29, Russian terrorists fired 158 missiles and kamikaze drones into Ukraine. Ukrainian air defense shot down more than 100 hostile targets.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny on Telegram.
First, the occupiers attacked Ukraine with “shaheeds” from the northern and southeastern directions. The drones were moving in a westerly direction. In total, 36 drone launches were recorded. Air defense shot down 27 enemy attack drones.
About three o'clock the invaders took into the sky strategic aviation – 18 Tu-95MS bombers. At 6:00 they reached the launch pads and launched at least 90 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 air-launched cruise missiles.
From the Kursk region at 5:00 Tu-22M3 bombers fired eight Kh-22/Kh-32 cruise missiles in the direction of the northern and central regions.
At the same time, the Russians attacked Kharkov with S-300 anti-aircraft missiles. In total, the enemy fired at least 14 missiles flying along a ballistic trajectory – S-300/S-400/Iskander-M from the occupied Crimea, Kursk and Belgorod regions of the Russian Federation.
At 6:30 a.m., five Mig-31K aircraft fired five Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missiles from the Astrakhan region. Also from the Su-35 tactical aircraft, 4 Kh-31P anti-radar missiles and one Kh-59 were used.
As Zaluzhny noted, that night the invaders fired a total of 158 missiles of various types and attack drones. Air defense forces shot down 27 suicide bombers and 87 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles.
The Ukrainian Air Force called today's enemy attack the most massive attack from the air.
Russian terrorists have been attacking Ukraine with missiles and kamikaze drones since the night. Arrivals were recorded in Kyiv, Lvov, Odessa, Dnieper, and Sumy region. According to the latest data, more than 10 people in Ukraine were killed as a result of the strikes, and dozens were injured.
