Ukrainian defenders attacked military targets on Russian territory this night. The loudest place was in Bryansk.
Sources in the special services told RBC-Ukraine about this.
“On the night of December 29-30, the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine launched a powerful attack on military targets on the territory of the Russian Federation. In total, more than 70 drones of various types took part in the attack ,” sources note.
As the interlocutors said, it was loudest in Bryansk, where a group of drones attacked the Kremnoy El plant. This is one of the largest manufacturers of electronics for Russian military equipment. In particular, for long-range missiles and Pantsir air defense systems.
It is known that explosions also occurred at several military facilities in Belgorod, Tula, Tver, and Moscow.
“Russian air defense was able to shoot down a certain part of the Ukrainian UAVs, but a significant number of them were effective against their targets. Unlike Russian terrorist attacks on the territory of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Security and Defense Forces attacked exclusively enemy military targets,” the sources add.
Night explosions in Russia
Let us remind you that late in the evening of December 29, people in Belgorod began to complain about explosions and alleged shelling. The regional governor said that the air defense shot down “several air targets” on approach to Belgorod.
By the morning of December 30, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the attack had been “repulsed.” Shoigu stated that they shot down 32 drones, and air defense allegedly worked in the Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk and Moscow regions.
