The limited BMW M4 CS Edition VR46, the appearance of which is timed to coincide with the birthday of the Italian racer and MotoGP legend, was shown in official photographs. The cars will go on sale in limited quantities, and one will be different from the others – it was made to order for the pilot himself.

On February 16, Valentino Rossi, nine-time world champion in motorcycle racing and factory pilot of the BMW M division, turned 46 years old. For this event, the racing division of the Bavarian manufacturer has prepared a special series M4 CS Edition VR46, which will be released in a limited edition and offered in two versions – Sport and Style.
The M4 CS Edition VR46 is distinguished from other versions by several paint options: Marina Bay Blue with the inscription “46” on the sides in the shade of Tanzanite Blue for the Sport version or matte Frozen Tanzanite Blue with the same number, but in the shade of Frozen Marina Bay Blue for the Style version. Bright yellow accents give the car away – one of the spokes on the forged wheels, brake calipers with the M logo and a stripe above the door in the Sport version are painted in this color. Details in yellow Sao Paulo Yellow are also present in the interior.
The BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 is equipped with a three-liter inline “six” M TwinPower Turbo with a power of 550 horsepower, an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission and an M xDrive all-wheel drive system. From a standstill to 100 km / h, such a car accelerates in 3.4 seconds, and to 200 km / h – in 11.1 seconds. The maximum speed is electronically limited to 302 km / h.
Only 46 of these cars will be produced – the same number of years as Valentino Rossi. As a bonus to the purchase, BMW promises a personal meeting with Rossi at his home on a ranch in the Italian Tavullia and a race on the Misano circuit.
