On the night of February 25, the Russian Federation (RF) attacked Ukraine with more than 210 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). It also launched seven cruise missiles.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Telegram channel of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
During the shelling of the enemy, launched:
- 213 Shahed-type attack drones and drone imitators from the directions of the Russian cities of Orel, Bryansk, Kursk, Primorsky-Akhtarsk;
- Seven Kh-101 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic aviation aircraft.
The following were involved in repelling the attack:
- aviation;
- anti-aircraft missile forces;
- electronic warfare units;
- mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 11am, the following have been confirmed downed:
- six X-101 cruise missiles;
- 133 attack drones within the Kyiv, Poltava, Sumy, Cherkasy, Chernihiv and a number of other regions.
Also, 79 drone impersonators were lost without adverse effects.
As a result of the shelling, the Kyiv and Zhitomir regions suffered.

Almost every night, Russian terrorists resort to massive drone attacks. For example, on the night of February 24, the invaders launched 185 drones from five different directions.
That same night, air defense was operating in the Kyiv region. Before that, an air raid alert was declared in a number of regions. There are damages and casualties due to the attack in the Zhitomir region.
