The administration of US President Donald Trump may stop providing all aid to Ukraine. This includes indirect support.

RBC-Ukraine reports this with reference to The New York Times.

As the publication notes, on Friday, February 28, a Trump administration spokesman said that all American aid to Ukraine — including the latest supplies of ammunition and equipment authorized and paid for during the Biden administration — could be canceled in the near future.

Also, after the dispute between the US and Ukrainian presidents in the Oval Office, a representative of the Trump administration stated that the US president may decide to stop even indirect support for Ukraine.

Such assistance includes other types of military funding, intelligence sharing, training of Ukrainian military personnel and pilots, and the establishment of an international aid command center at a U.S. base in Germany.

The NYT points out that according to the Kiel Institute, European countries have allocated $138 billion for Ukraine's military actions, compared to $119 billion in military and humanitarian aid from the United States.

The publication also adds that at the time of the meeting between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump, 50 days had passed since the Pentagon announced the provision of the last package of weapons to Ukraine. Not a single package has been announced since Trump's inauguration.

Recall that after the dispute between Zelensky and Trump in the White House, The Washington Post, citing a representative of the Trump administration, reported that the United States may consider stopping military aid to Ukraine, but CNN points out that there are no such risks.

Zelensky and Trump's Quarrel

On Friday, February 28, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited Washington, where he met with Donald Trump at the White House. Their meeting was public, with media representatives present, and US Vice President J.D. Vance also took part in the discussion.

During the conversation between Zelensky, Trump and Vance, an argument occurred regarding the war in Ukraine. As the Ukrainian president later said, the argument with Trump was provoked by statements that Ukraine had allegedly already been destroyed, millions had died, and the president was a “dictator”.

After the row, Trump gathered with his key advisers in the Oval Office. Later, Volodymyr Zelensky left the White House early.

Trump, in turn, stated that the Ukrainian president is allegedly not ready for peace.

It is worth adding that an agreement between Ukraine and the US on minerals was also expected to be signed in Washington. However, it was not signed due to the disrupted negotiations between the presidents.
