The motorcycle manufacturer has unveiled the most powerful production Harley-Davidson, the CVO Road Glide RR. The new model is powered by a Screamin' Eagle 131 engine that produces 155 horsepower.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Harley-Davidson press service.
The 2.2-liter V-twin engine has a more efficient oil pump and larger throttle bodies compared to its predecessor. The exhaust system on the motorcycle is titanium, manufactured by Akrapovič, with a heat-protective casing made of carbon fiber and legalization for noise and emissions in 50 US states.
The clutch and suspension swingarm are made of aluminum, complemented by two Öhlins shock absorbers. The brakes are also not quite ordinary: Brembo GP4-RX calipers are a road version of mechanisms close to the calipers for MotoGP, and T-Drive rotors are created for the World Superbike Championship.
The extensive use of composites has reduced the weight of the motorcycle by almost 23 kilograms. Ground clearance has increased by 51 millimeters, which allows the CVO Road Glide RR to roll more in corners.
The tourer is equipped with Skyline OS multimedia with a 12.3-inch display, a Cardo Packtalk Edge motorcycle headset, and a premium Rockford Fosgate Stage III audio system with a four-channel 500-watt amplifier. The Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide RR will be produced in a limited edition of 131 units. The price is $110,000.
