In Krivoy Rog, the number of people killed due to a missile strike carried out by Russian occupiers on a hotel building the previous evening has already risen to 3. More than thirty people are known to have been injured, including a child.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the head of the Dnepropetrovsk regional military administration, Sergei Lysak.
The official said the victims were two men and one woman.
“There are 31 victims, including one child. Most of the wounded were hospitalized. 14 are in serious condition,” the head of the OVA reported.
What are the consequences of the shelling?
According to the head of the administration, in addition to the hotel, the following were also damaged in the city:
- 14 apartment buildings,
- post office building,
- almost two dozen cars,
- cultural institution,
- 12 stores.
The head of the OVA added that rescuers in Krivoy Rog continue to clear away the rubble.

As the head of the Krivoy Rog Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, specified in his Telegram, yesterday evening the Russians attacked a hotel in a residential area of the city with ballistics.
“All emergency, operational and utility services were immediately sent to the site of the impact. In the first hours, 18 people were rescued from under the rubble. The fire was extinguished. The search and rescue operation continues,” he said.
It was also specified that among the 31 wounded there is a 13-year-old girl.
“There are currently 28 people in hospitals, 3 of whom are in extremely serious condition, 11 in serious condition. Doctors are fighting for their lives and providing all necessary assistance,” Vilkul added.

As the head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA reported, a man wounded in a missile attack on Krivoy Rog died in the hospital. He was 43 years old.
“Unfortunately, a 43-year-old man died in intensive care. His condition was extremely serious, doctors fought for his life all night, but his injuries were incompatible with life. Thus, the number of victims of the enemy terrorist attack has increased to four ,” Vilkul confirmed the information.
According to the head of the City Defense Council, tomorrow, March 7, a day of mourning will be declared in Krivoy Rog.
Missile attack on Krivoy Rog
As reported earlier, on the evening of March 5, Russian terrorists launched a ballistic missile attack on a hotel in Krivoy Rog. The attack damaged civilian infrastructure. Initially, two people were reported dead.
It also became known that the number of wounded in Krivoy Rog was constantly growing. Rescue and search operations were launched at the site of the enemy shelling.
