Over the past 24 hours from March 8 to 9, Russian troops lost 1,180 soldiers and 3 multiple launch rocket systems in the war with Ukraine. The daily loss of enemy equipment is 226 units.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy's total combat losses from 24.02.22 to 09.03.25 were approximately:
- personnel – about 885,130 (+1180) people were eliminated;
- tanks – 10,274 (+6) units;
- combat armored vehicles – 21,360 (+14) units;
- artillery systems – 24,206 (+58) units;
- MLRS – 1310 (+3) units;
- air defense systems – 1101 (+2) units;
- aircraft – 370 units;
- helicopters – 331 units;
- Operational-tactical level UAVs – 28,362 (+190) units;
- cruise missiles – 3120 units;
- ships/boats – 28 units;
- submarines – 1 unit;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 39,933 (+142) units;
- special equipment – 3773 (+1) units.
The situation at the front and shelling of Russia
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Defence Forces have had success on two fronts in the Donetsk region.
Last night, Russian terrorists again attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones “Shahed”.
In Zaporizhia and the region, enemy UAVs damaged critical infrastructure. Residents were warned about restrictions in the supply of gas and heat.
In addition, the aggressor shelled the frontline town of Druzhkovka in the Donetsk region. Residential buildings were damaged, and a large number of local residents were injured.
