Over the past month, almost 3.3 thousand used passenger cars from the United States have undergone their first registration in Ukraine. The largest share of this number, namely more than 42%, are electric cars.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to UkrAvtoProm.
Gasoline cars account for 41%. Hybrid cars account for 7%, and diesel and LPG cars account for 5% each. The average age of used “Americans” that joined the Ukrainian car fleet in February is about 6 years.
The TOP 5 used cars made in the USA include:
- Tesla Model Y – 419 units;
- Tesla Model 3 – 416 units;
- Ford Escape – 234 units;
- Jeep Cherokee – 187 units;
- Nissan Rogue – 160 units
In addition, over the past month, Ukrainians purchased 900 passenger cars imported from China. This is 35% less than in February 2024. Of this amount: new – 690 cars (-31%); used – 210 units (-46%). The vast majority of passenger cars from China turned out to be electric vehicles – more than 83%.
The most popular models of new passenger cars of Chinese origin:
- BYD Song Plus – 116 units;
- Zeekr 7X – 65 units;
- Volkswagen ID.4 – 55 units;
- Zeekr 001 – 46 units;
- Volkswagen ID.Unyx – 45 units
The most popular models of used passenger cars from China:
- Zeekr 001 – 32 units;
- Zeekr 7X – 18 units;
- Volkswagen ID.4 – 14 units;
- Tesla Model 3 – 13 units;
- Honda M-NV – 10 units
