In Chernigov, an enemy “Shahed” hit a five-story building. The Russian attack caused a fire.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to a statement by the head of the Chernihiv city military administration, Dmitry Brizhinsky.

An explosion occurred in Chernihiv, caused by a Russian “Shakhed” hitting a five-story building. The head of the Chernihiv MVA noted that information about the damage and the number of victims is currently being clarified.

According to him, a fire broke out at the site of the explosion, and rescue services quickly began work.

“A five-story building was hit. A fire was recorded at the site of the explosion,” he emphasized.

Brizhinsky emphasized that all services are working to eliminate the consequences.

The head of the Chernihiv MVA reported that the impact of the “Shakhed” missiles has so far been recorded in two areas of the city.

“One Shahed hit a five-story building, the other damaged several private houses,” he explained.

The State Emergency Service showed footage after the Russian attack on Chernigov and commented on what is known as of this minute.

“As a result of the impact, a fire broke out in a multi-story building, 2 floors were partially destroyed. A strike on the private sector was also recorded. All necessary services are working at the scene. Information about the victims and injured is being clarified,” the report says.

Note that earlier today, March 15, Russian occupiers again launched attack drones into Ukraine. Enemy drones are being recorded in a number of regions of the country, including in the direction of Chernigov.

Let us recall that last night Russian occupiers attacked Chernigov. As a result of the attack, in particular, a building was hit and a car caught fire.

In total, on the night of March 15, Russian occupiers launched two ballistic missiles and almost 200 attack drones at Ukraine.

As of 8:30 a.m., air defense forces had shot down more than half of the enemy drones, and another 40 or so Russian drone imitators were locally lost.
