Russia launched massive attacks on energy facilities in two regions of Ukraine

Russian troops launched a massive attack on energy facilities in two regions of Ukraine on the night of March 15. The shelling caused significant damage to the facilities.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to DTEK.

“At night, the enemy once again struck at the energy sector. This time in the Dnepropetrovsk and Odessa regions,” the report says.

Due to the Russian attack, some residents in the Dnipropetrovsk and Odessa regions were left without power. DTEK reports serious damage to the attacked energy facilities.

“The damage is significant. Power engineers are already working on the ground. We are doing everything possible to restore power supply to homes as quickly as possible,” DTEK adds.

Night shelling of Ukraine

On the night of March 15, Russia launched 178 drones at Ukraine and attacked with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles. Air defense forces shot down 130 drones. Another 38 enemy drone imitators were lost (without negative consequences).

It is known that the occupiers struck a multi-story building in Chernigov. Sumy and the Kharkiv region were also under attack.

Ukrzaliznytsia reported that Russians attacked its energy infrastructure in the Dnipropetrovsk region and Zaporozhye.

The Russian army also struck the Odessa region twice during the night. Chornomorsk and Odessa were hit, two people were injured. The attacks resulted in power, water and gas outages in Chornomorsk, the situation has already been stabilized.
