iPhone maker Foxconn is also preparing to make four new electric vehicles, including for two Japanese brands. One of them could be Nissan, which has been interested in acquiring Foxconn.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Carscoops.

Taiwanese automaker Foxconn has announced that it is close to reaching agreements with two Japanese automakers to develop and produce a pair of electric vehicles. While limited details are available about these new models, they will be built alongside two of Foxconn's own electric vehicles, the Model C and Model B.

It is possible that one of the partners could be Nissan. While the Taiwanese industrial giant is busy finalizing contract agreements for the production of electric vehicles, it is also moving forward with its own electric vehicles.

Production of the Foxconn Model C will begin in North America in the fourth quarter of this year. The electric crossover was unveiled as a concept back in October 2021, and in concept form had a claimed range of 700 km.

It is also noted that the new Foxconn Model B will hit the assembly line in the middle of this year. The Model B was previewed in 2022 and is similar in size to the VW ID.3. It was designed by Pininfarina, has a single electric motor producing 230 hp and has a claimed range of 280 miles (450 km).
