Isuzu has introduced the “charged” Dragon Max pickup. The Isuzu Dragon Max pickup has retained the body of the original pickup with an extended cabin in the Space Cab version from the 90s. Nevertheless, the vehicle has undergone large-scale modernization.

For example, the car has a lowered suspension. Another characteristic feature of the new car is the LED optics. The radiator grille also has a backlight. A small spoiler on the stern and 17-inch black wheels with low-profile tires complete the look.
In the cabin, instead of analog scales in front of the driver, a digital instrument display is installed, and it has a mode for displaying the time of the lap. On the central console there is a large screen of the media system. The entire interior of the restomod is covered with Alcantara and decorated with carbon fiber. New seats with extended lateral support are installed.
However, the main feature of the Isuzu Dragon Max restomod is hidden under the hood. The car is equipped with the latest 2.2-liter MaxForce turbodiesel, which appeared in the modern Isuzu D-Max pickup last year. In the standard version, this engine develops 163 hp and 400 Nm, but especially for the restomod, the engine output was increased to 220 hp and 550 Nm. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic. The original Dragon Max engine developed only 100 hp.
The public presentation of the Isuzu Dragon Max restomod took place at the international motor show in Bangkok. The further fate of the project is unclear, as well as the price of the pickup truck.
