Based on the results of the first two months of 2025, the full-size Ford F-Series pickup truck became the new leader in the global new car market, with sales growing by 91.1%.

The TOP 10 models of new cars based on global sales in January-February look like this:
- Ford F-Series – 198,557 units. (+91.1%);
- Toyota RAV4 – 189,392 units. (+20.6%);
- Toyota Corolla – 171,279 units. (-4.6%);
- Honda CR-V – 134,453 units. (+8.8%);
- Toyota Camry – 103,156 pcs. (+17.7%);
- Kia Sportage – 96,508 units. (+5.7%);
- Tesla Model Y – 95,956 units (-41.8%);
- Hyundai Tucson – 92,329 units. (-4.5%);
- Toyota Hilux – 87,768 units. (+0.1%);
- Toyota Yaris – 84,877 units. (+6.1%).
Also, experts have previously found out that on average, over the first 5 years, cars on the market lose 45.6% of their initial price. Pickups (minus 40.4%) and hybrids (40.7%) hold up the most steadily. The latter's good performance is probably explained by the fact that there are many Toyota hybrids on the market.
Crossovers lose significantly more – 48.9% of their value over five years. Electric cars set an anti-record, depreciating by 58.8% at once.
