Russia launched a combined attack on Ukraine on the night of April 6. The occupiers launched 23 missiles and 109 drones at Ukraine.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram.
In total, Russia released the following on Ukraine tonight:
- 9 Kh-101/Kh-55SM cruise missiles (launched from Tu-95MS aircraft from the airspace of the Saratov region);
- 8 Kalibr cruise missiles (launched from the Black Sea);
- 6 Iskander-M ballistic missiles (launch area: Bryansk region);
- 109 Shahed-type attack drones and other types of drone imitators (launch areas: Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk in Russia and Chauda in Crimea).
Air defense forces destroyed 6 Kh-101/Kh-55SM cruise missiles, 6 Kalibr cruise missiles, 1 Iskander-M ballistic missile and 40 Shaheds.
Another 53 enemy drone simulators were lost locally (without ill effects).
Consequences of the shelling of the Russian Federation
On the evening of April 5, Russian drones struck Nikolaev. Houses in the city were damaged, and a fire broke out in a gas network. As of the morning, four people were injured in the attack.
The Russians also attacked Sumy at night, firing eight Shaheds at the city. Civilian infrastructure in the city was damaged.
In addition, the Russian army attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles. As a result of the attack, fires broke out in three districts of the capital and destruction occurred. As of this morning, three people were injured and one was killed as a result of the attack.
