Over the past 24 hours, from April 7 to 8, Russian occupiers lost 1,290 soldiers in battles against Ukraine. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed a lot of enemy equipment.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy's total combat losses from 24.02.22 to 08.04.25 were approximately:
- personnel – about 926,310 (+1290) people;
- tanks – 10,572 (+5) units;
- combat armored vehicles – 22,011 (+14) units;
- artillery systems – 25,860 (+43) units;
- MLRS – 1359 (+3) units;
- air defense systems – 1126 (+2) units;
- aircraft – 370 units;
- helicopters – 335 units;
- Operational-tactical level UAVs – 31,917 (+43) units;
- cruise missiles – 3145 units;
- ships/boats – 28 units;
- submarines – 1 unit;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 43,227 (+107) units;
- special equipment – 3792 (+2) units.
Let us recall that as of the evening of April 7, there had been 120 combat clashes on the front. The enemy attacked most of all in the Pokrovsky direction, where it carried out 42 offensive actions.
In particular, the Russians tried to break through the Ukrainian defense near the settlements of Kalinovo, Alexandropol, Tarasovka, Elizavetovka, Udachnoye, Uspenovka, Preobrazhenka, Andreyevka, Kotlino, as well as in the directions of Kotlyarovka and Sergeyevka.
