Since the beginning of the year, Ukrainians have purchased almost 9 thousand used cars from the United States. Thus, 8984 used passenger cars have undergone their first registration in Ukraine.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to UkrAvtoProm.
It is noted that the largest share of this number, namely 42%, are electric cars. The share of gasoline cars accounted for 41%, hybrid cars accounted for 7%, and diesel cars and cars with LPG were chosen by 5% of buyers from the total number.
At the same time, the average age of used American cars that joined the Ukrainian fleet from January to March was 6 years.
The TOP-10 used cars imported from the USA include:
- Tesla Model Y – 1176 units;
- Tesla Model 3 – 1119 units;
- Ford Escape – 636 units;
- Jeep Cherokee – 511 units;
- Nissan Rogue – 446 units;
- Volkswagen Passat – 413 units;
- Chevrolet Bolt – 412 units;
- BMW X3 – 384 units;
- BMW X5 – 381 units;
- Tesla Model S – 360 units
Earlier it was reported that Volkswagen had decided to stop supplying cars to the United States that were assembled in Mexico. In this way, the automaker is trying to prevent the consequences of new tariffs from the United States.
