The Ukrainian Armed Forces will replace the MМ-14 camouflage, commonly known as “pixel,” with a new uniform pattern, MМ-25, which is a replica of the internationally recognized Multicam. According to information published on the “Partner MOI” website and the “Militarnyi” publication, the Central Department of Material Supply Development has approved the new MМ-25 camouflage design for use in manufacturing military items, reports Baltimore Chronicle, with reference to Partner MOI.
The official appearance of the new camouflage has not been disclosed. However, several military-focused publications assert that the MМ-25 pattern is, in fact, a direct copy of the globally recognized Multicam. The exact timeline for the full transition to the new uniform is yet to be disclosed. Considering the current size of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the complete replacement of the uniforms could take several years. Additionally, it remains unclear when the first batches of the new uniforms will be delivered to the troops, notes “Militarnyi.”
