Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone conversation with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. In his address to the nation, Zelensky expressed gratitude to the Alliance’s leadership for the support and cooperation that remain vital for Ukraine, reports Baltimore Chronicle citing the president’s official statement.

Zelensky emphasized that cooperation with NATO continues on a regular basis, with both sides carefully coordinating their actions. He noted that this coordination aims to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities and counter Russian aggression.

The president underlined that Russia has essentially stolen a significant part of this year from the world, disrupting peace and stability. According to him, this autumn Ukraine and its partners must concentrate maximum efforts on regaining what was lost and consolidating their positions on the international stage.

Zelensky concluded that Kyiv and its allies are determined to take active measures to make up for the time lost due to Russian aggression and to achieve results important for the whole of Europe.
