Photo 242 generators were delivered to medical institutions in Kiev and 18 regions for uninterrupted operation in the event of blackouts.
The Ministry of Health reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
“Generators are distributed to Kharkov, Kirovograd, Khmelnitsky, Nikolaev, Lviv, Dnepropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Poltava, Sumy, Luhansk, Rivne, Vinnytsia, Volyn, Zhytomyr, Transcarpathian, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kiev, Ternopil regions and the city of Kiev,” it says in the message.
It is noted that the equipment was purchased through the joint project of the Ministry of Health and World Bank Ukraine “Emergency response to COVID-19 and vaccination in Ukraine.” The equipment is supplied by the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF Ukraine).

As reported, for uninterrupted operation, healthcare institutions have 10,413 generators, which will operate automatically in case of an emergency.
