Photo Solar panels with energy conservation systems were installed in the Boryslav central city hospital in the Lviv region.
This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Health, Ukrinform reports.
"A hybrid solar station installed on the building outpatient and therapeutic departments of the hospital. The total power of the station is 30 kW. In addition to significant energy savings, such equipment allows you to accumulate energy and can be used as a backup power source. The battery module reserve is 40 kW,” the message says.
It is noted that the solar power plant is capable of generating up to 25,000 kW of electricity per year, which will save up to 35% of the electrical energy required for the operation of the building. Thus, the hospital will be able to save about 160 thousand UAH per year on utility bills.
For the installation and installation of solar panels on the roof of the hospital, the building's ceiling was repaired at the expense of the local budget. The total cost of re-roofing 750 m² amounted to 294 thousand UAH.
