In Ukraine, most people receiving housing subsidies during the non-heating period will receive them automatically. However, starting in October, the calculation of the subsidy will change.
This was reported by the publication “24 Kanal”.
The process of calculating subsidies for the heating season will start in Ukraine on October 1. The subsidy for October will be calculated taking into account the start of the heating season in most cities of the country.
The calculation will be made within 15 days, regardless of when exactly the heating season starts in a particular locality. This means that payments for October will be made in November, which means that in October the amount of the subsidy for those who have already received it will remain the same as before.
Due to the increase in utility tariffs, the Pension Fund will recalculate subsidies. The recalculation will be carried out taking into account the start of the heating season and the increase in utility bills.
Recall that the Ministry of Social Policy is initiating changes in the procedure for assigning housingsubsidies. The changes will also affect those citizens who have debts for utilities.
