The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, plans to have phone conversations this week with Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump to discuss their intentions regarding a possible meeting in Istanbul. This was reported by Baltimore Chronicle, citing Anadolu Agency.
Erdoğan expressed his intention to assess the likelihood of organizing a meeting between the leaders, particularly to discuss the conflict in Ukraine. “We want to have talks with Putin and Trump this week to determine whether we can bring these leaders together in Istanbul.
