In particular, you will have to pay more for parcels.
In Ukraine, the cost of services of postal operators – both Ukrposhta and Nova Poshta – has increased since October 1.
This was reported on the websites of the companies.
“Ukrposhta” changes the cost of postal payment signs: postage stamps, stamped envelopes and maps.
“From October, in accordance with the changes to the Tax Code of Ukraine, postage stamps (postage stamps, stamped envelopes and cards) will be sold with value added tax (VAT) at a rate of 20%,” the company emphasized.
In turn, Nova Poshta will update tariffs for the delivery of documents, parcels and cargo. The cost of services will increase by an average of 10 hryvnia. The amount will depend on the size of the parcel: small, medium or large. The commission for the declared value when returning parcels will be canceled.
Nova Poshta explained that during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, energy resources such as fuel and electricity have become more expensive. They make up a significant share of the cost of services. Consumer prices have increased by 7.5%, and the inflation rate is 8.2%.
As reported, NovaPay has launched an installment plan for its clients. You can apply for it in the company's mobile application and receive money on your card in just a few clicks.
