Business will have to pay UAH 665.26 per MW/hour.
The National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities (NKREKU) approved a draft resolution on increasing the electricity transmission tariff for 2025 by 25.8% to UAH 665.26/MWh.
This became known following a meeting of the commission.
The new tariff does not apply to households and ordinary Ukrainians, but businesses will have to pay UAH 665.26 per MWh.
In addition, the NKREKU meeting adopted:
- It is proposed to set a separate tariff for electricity transmission for green metallurgy at UAH 352.73/MWh.
- The tariff for dispatch control is proposed at the level of 95.07 UAH/MWh.
- Among the official reasons for the tariff increase is a decrease in the volume of production and transmission of electricity.
- An increase in compensation for technological costs, salaries at Ukrenergo, loan payments and expenses for special duties for settlements with renewable energy generation. Inflation and exchange rate growth are also taken into account.
- The volume of electricity transmission in 2025 is projected to be 98,651,000 MWh, according to Ukrenergo calculations.
- The costs of fulfilling special duties for 2025 are projected to be UAH 30 billion.
- The projected costs of reducing the load of green electricity producers are UAH 632 million.
Earlier it was reported that in the spring of 2025, the tariff for electricity for Ukrainians may increase to UAH 4.7 per kilowatt-hour.
