According to MPs Zheleznyak and Yuzhanina, the additional UAH 3.8 billion for cashback and “1000 from Zelensky” were taken from other programs.
The Cabinet of Ministers decided to take money from business support and demining programs and provide an additional UAH 3.8 billion this year for the cashback program and the Winter Support program, which is popularly nicknamed “Zelensky's thousand.”
This was reported by MPs Yaroslav Zheleznyak and Nina Yuzhanina on Telegram.
According to Yuzhanina, the Cabinet of Ministers reduced:
- by UAH 99 million 830 thousand – under the program “Partial reimbursement of the cost of agricultural machinery and equipment of domestic production”;
- by UAH 1 billion 763 million – under the program “Providing state support for the implementation of investment projects with significant investments” (investnyany);
- by UAH 2 billion – under the program “Compensation for expenses on humanitarian demining of agricultural lands”.
Instead, UAH 3 billion 863 million is provided under the program “Support for domestic demand for domestic goods and services” to provide one-time state financial assistance “Winter Support”.
Earlier, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced that the law on raising taxes in Ukraine will come into force on December 1.
Recall that on October 25, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced a new program “ePidtrimka” – one thousand hryvnia per person
In total, the government will allocate 5 billion hryvnia for the “Winter ePidtrimka”, transferring funds from the cashback program.
Users of social networks reacted either skeptically or humorously to the idea of payments.
