Hourly and piecework wage systems must necessarily take into account the overtime factor.
The work of Ukrainians working overtime is paid at double the hourly rate. This obligation of the employer is regulated by Article 106 of the Labor Code.
This was reported by specialists from the South-Eastern Interregional Department of the State Labor Service.
In Ukraine, the hourly wage system for overtime provides for payment of overtime hours at a double rate.
The piecework wage system also provides for increased payment for work after the working day. In this case, the additional payment is calculated in the amount of 100% of the wage rate of an employee of the corresponding qualification for all overtime hours worked.
It is noted that overtime hours worked are not compensated by providing time off.
Experts also noted the prevention of mobbing and discrimination against people with disabilities, ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men in labor relations and the need for psychosocial support in the workplace.
By the way, in 2025, the minimum wage and subsistence minimum will not change in Ukraine.
