The cost of autogas has increased by an average of 65 kopecks since the beginning of January.
Due to the increase in excise taxes on fuel in Ukraine, in the first days of January, autogas in retail has become more expensive by an average of 65 kopecks per liter – up to 36.03 UAH.
This is evidenced by the results of monitoring by the Consulting Group “A-95”.
The largest increase in the price of autogas was recorded at KLO stations, where the cost of fuel increased by 1.3 UAH/l and now amounts to 37.99 UAH/l.
At OKKO, WOG, SOCAR, BVS, Mango, Avantage 7, Olas and Katral stations, autogas increased in price by 1 UAH/l.
At UPG gas stations, prices increased by 1.20 UAH/l. In other networks, autogas increased in price within 20-90 kopecks per liter.
The lowest cost of gas – 32.29 UAH/l – was recorded at the BRSM-Nafta gas station in the Mykolaiv region. Second place is occupied by Marshal in the Zhytomyr region with a price of 32.39 UAH/l.
Reasons for the increase in prices for autogas:
- increase in excise taxes. Since January 1, excise rates have increased, which added 1.3 UAH/l to the cost;
- supplier prices. The increase in the cost of autogas on foreign markets also affected prices in Ukraine.
Operators note that due to the low level of margins, the situation remains difficult. In addition, the advance payment of income tax, which the networks have been paying since December 2024, adds up to 1 UAH/l to the costs of low-flow gas stations.
Recall that in September 2024, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed Law No. 11256-2 on increasing excise taxes on fuel.
