The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to include the Yantar industrial park in the Register of industrial parks.
The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine reported this, Ukrinform reports.
“The new industrial park “Yantar” will be created on the territory of the city of Burshtyn, Ivano-Frankivsk district, Ivano-Frankivsk region. The decision to include this park in the Register of Industrial Parks was made by the government at a meeting on February 28,” the statement says.
Deputy Minister of Economy Vitaly Kindratov noted that the Yantar industrial park will attract investment, develop the processing industry and promote economic growth in the region and will open up new opportunities for business and international cooperation.
The initiator of the creation of the industrial park “Yantar” is the Burshtyn City Council. The total area of the park is 20.4535 hectares, its activities are aimed at the development of the processing industry and related areas.
It is expected that up to 1,000 jobs will be created in such sectors as textile production, food and clothing production, wood processing, machinery and equipment production, scientific and technical activities, as well as activities in the field of information and electronic communications.
In 2025, this will be the third park to be included in the Register of Industrial Parks.
As reported by Ukrinform, on February 21, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to exclude four non-operating industrial parks from the register of industrial parks of Ukraine. We are talking about the First Eco-Industrial Park (Ivano-Frankivsk region, created in 2013); “SIGMA Park Yarychi” (Lviv region, created in 2017); Rivne industrial park (Rivne region, created in 2020) and “Malyn-Zakhid” (Zhytomyr region, created in 2021).
