Since 2025, already 5,100 Ukrainians have received a voucher for free training to start a new profession or specialty that is required in the market.
The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine reports this, Ukrinform reports.
“We have introduced low initial programs so that people can change their jobs, advance their professional career, acquire additional skills, which will allow them to become more competitive in the market. They can take a voucher for training and graduate in one of 155 professions and specialties. In total, over 5 thousand Ukrainians received vouchers. The most popular professions are nursing (1,397 vouchers), cook (400), medicine (350), social worker (340) and water (316).
The ministry has guessed that people with professional and technical knowledge who are not registered with the employment service as unemployed and who have not undergone training for funds to the Fund can withdraw their voucher of the federal government social insurance for the period of unemployment over the remaining 3 years. Zokrema, people over 45 years of age with an insurance record of over 15 years, veterans, participants in combat operations, internal displacement of individuals, people with disabilities and individuals who have inherited wounds from war aggression or gone completely.
The maximum voucher amount is 30,280 UAH.
As reported by Ukrinform, 23 thousand Ukrainians received education vouchers, and the country financed their education for 327 million UAH. The largest number of vouchers were taken for the professions of nursing, psychology, preschool education, medicine, as well as for the professions of cook, driver, tractor driver, and pastry chef.
