With the reduced supply of carrots on the Ukrainian market, prices for this product decreased by an average of 10%.

According to market participants, the reduction in price is caused by a reduction in prices for these products. The proposal for substandard carrots has also increased, so that the growers are about to jump ahead of us.
“So, according to the data of the monitoring project, carrots in the Ukrainian dominions are currently being sold at 24-30 UAH/kg (0.58-0.73 USD/kg), which is on average 10% cheaper, lower like last year,” says the acquaintance.
Virologists believe that the reason for this price situation is the demand for carrots, since the availability of these root crops is depleted among the congenital masses. Project analysts noted that farmers are anxious to reduce input prices given that carrot stocks are rapidly running out.
At the same time, Ukrainian farmers are able to extract carrots that are on average 3.5 times more expensive than in the same period.
As it was reported, the loss of potato berries in harvests prompted farmers to sell their products and reduce the previous output prices by 12% – to 16-26 UAH/kg.
