Trade between Ukraine and the United States amounts to 3.8 billion dollars, and since the reign of US President Donald Trump for other countries, it is not a problem for Ukraine.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said this at the press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“As long as the tariffs are in place, the stink will not be felt on us, on our economy as a whole. We and the USA understand that there was a price on our metallurgy. We had 25% on metallurgy earlier, and then after the start of a large-scale war, the tariff was changed to the same level today. I'm asking for respect, It’s not the same volumes that we can talk about today, but there are some problems. This is not a problem for us,” Zelensky said.
As reported by Ukrinform, US President Donald Trump officially voted against introducing large-scale tariffs against trading partners of the United States, calling it “Day of Liberation” for America.
