Getmantsev denied information about an 18% tax on bank transfers of citizens

Гетманцев спростував інформацію про 18% податку з банківських переказів громадян

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Danilo Getmantsev denied information about an 18% tax for transfers from card to card.

As Ukrinform reports, Getmantsev wrote about this in a Telegram.

“Another self-proclaimed mad expert, in his usual attempt to search for cheap hype, wrote on his Facebook page that every transfer to the account of each person in accordance with the National Income Strategy approved by the government will be taxed at 18%,” Getmantsev noted.

According to him, in the pre-New Year vacuum of economic information, the “news” was carried.

“Knowing the answer, I re-read the strategy myself. Supposedly I didn’t find it. But the sediment remained. Well, are we really so infantile that in the second year of the war we have to fight against absolute inadequates and their conscious or unconscious (in its absence) pro-Russian IPSO? Let’s finally move on from the year of the rabbit to the year of the dragon!”, Getmantsev emphasized.

As reported, on December 28, the director of economic programs of the Ukrainian Institute of the Future analytical center, Anatoly Amelin, announced on Facebook that any receipts to an individual’s card will be taxed at 18%. Allegedly, this norm is included in the National Revenue Strategy for 2024.
