Payments have increased since April.
Since the beginning of April 2024, the government of Ukraine has expanded state social support for children who have lost volunteer parents. Now payments amount to 7,800 UAH for each minor child and 6,100 UAH for each child in families with two or more children.
This is reported by the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.
From the beginning of March 2024 increased amounts of targeted support were introduced for certain groups of children. This applies to children whose parents did not have the opportunity to join the Volunteer Formations of Territorial Communities (DFTG) for various reasons.
According to the updated rules, these children will now receive increased payments of state social assistance.
According to the new standards, starting from April 1, 2024, the amount of this benefit is:
- 7800 UAH for each minor child
- 6100 UAH for each child in the family, if there are two or more children
Monthly payments will be made automatically without the need to submit additional applications or documents.
It became known earlier that in Ukraine in 2024 year the amount of alimony changed because the cost of living increased.
