Calculation of the consumer price index for indexing the monetary income of the population will take place from January 1.
Ukrainian employers must again indexsalaries to its employees in accordance with the level of inflation.
The press service of the State Labor Service reports this.
The corresponding rule is provided for in Article 39 of the Law “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2024” .
According to the law on the state budget, the calculation of the consumer price index for indexing the monetary income of the population is carried out on an accrual basis, starting in January 2024.
“Thus, this year the right to carry out indexation workers' wages are being resumed,” the department said in a statement.
Earlier it became known that an increase in pensions is planned in Ukraine. The increase is planned from the first days of spring and will affect 10 million Ukrainians in total .
