At the end of the year, the receipt of payments, the collection of which is controlled by the State Tax Service, amounted to UAH 739.1 billion, including:
- UAH 214.1 billion – value added tax (collected 346.5 billion, refunded – 132, 4 billion UAH); UAH 175.7 billion – personal income tax and military duty; UAH 143.6 billion – corporate income tax; UAH 102.8 billion – excise tax; UAH 59.8 billion – rent; UAH 35.1 billion are dividends and part of the net profit of state-owned enterprises.
In addition, payments, the collection of which is controlled by the State Customs Service, were received in the amount of 397.3 billion hryvnia.
Compliance with the annual breakdown of revenues of the general fund of the state budget by the State Tax Service was, according to operational data, 100.5% (plus 3, 8 billion UAH), State Customs Service – 93.7% (minus 26.5 billion UAH). The main reason was the blocking of Ukrainian freight transport by Polish carriers, as well as a stronger, compared to the forecast, exchange rate of the hryvnia to the US dollar.
Funds received by Ukraine also became an important source of state budget revenue in 2023 in the form of international assistance (grants) – 425.4 billion hryvnia.
Another 35.9 billion UAH went to the general fund of the state budget from the NBU as part of its profit received over the past year.
According to operational data, at the end of 2023, the general and special funds of the state budget received UAH 2.7 trillion in taxes, fees and other payments, about UAH 480.0 billion in the form of unified social contributions went to the Pension Fund and social insurance funds.< /p>
