From January 1, 2024, the land market for legal entities will open in Ukraine. This is a new stage of reform provided for by the Law “On the Land Market”. This is stated in the EP article.

In addition, from the beginning of the year, citizens will have the right to acquire ownership of up to 10 thousand. hectares of land.
We would like to remind you that the land market in Ukraine started on July 1, 2021. Until 2024, only individuals – citizens of Ukraine – could buy agricultural land with a limit of 100 hectares.
The law also prohibits foreigners from buying land. This rule can only change after a referendum, the date of which is unknown.
